I’m very excited to announce my slate of classes for the remainder of 2018! From Business Planning for Witches at Catland in Brooklyn, NY, to Gingerbread Houses at John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC, and everything in between, my upcoming classes cover a wide range of topics and disciplines. However, there is one thing I hope will remain consistent: my mission to uplift and illuminate the sacred in the everyday. My intention is that this thread of honoring what is beautiful and transcendent about seemingly ordinary moments will be woven through all these endeavors. Please check back to this page for updates throughout the year, thank you so much for your interest, and please feel free to email me with any questions.

September 29 & 30, Durham, NC: Vision + Vocation Business Planning Course for Artists, Healers and Changemakers

vision + vocation (1)I’m very excited to be returning to The Mothership for a second Vision + Vocation Business Planning Course this year! I piloted the course in February, and here’s some things that the participants had to say about it:

“Jodi’s energy and enthusiasm- about business and our vision was contagious, inspiring, and optimistic.” – KF

“What I liked best about this course is Jodi’s commitment to attune to the needs of each participant and empower the mission of each person through practical and creative processes. Very personal, heart-filled, and down to earth facilitation.” -DH

“Jodi was bold enough to connect the technicality of business and marketing concepts with spirit, art, and divine potential within each of us. It helped me to accept and love the complexity of being a human being striving for freedom, with tangible tools to manifest my dreams.” -HB

“What I liked best: Ritual, emergent design. Integrating business/marketing jargon and definitions with tarot, somatic practices, and art. Connecting mission with “story” and marketing as Spring, Air, gathering awareness practice. Reframing business concepts as elements! Seasonal rhythms and cycles. Your support, optimism, positivity, space holding. Helping each other with mission statements felt so good.” -MJ

When: September 29th and 30th, 10am-6pm

Where: The Mothership, 401 West Geer Street, Durham, NC 27701

Back to back with our business planning retreat, the entrepreneurial women’s retreat will be our 6th cohort of existing entrepreneurs who would like to bring their office or studio seaside for a few days. While much of this retreat is self-guided in nature, Annie Milroy Price will be the lead facilitator and will be offering workshops to help participants explore the Birds Eye Adventures core themes of restoration, reflection, creativity, and connection. (If you have attended a Birds Eye Folly Beach retreat in the past, this one will be similar in structure with the additional benefit of one more night to simply soak deeper in the maritime medicine or take an afternoon trip into nearby Charleston)
